Dear Friends,
We Want You To Know How Your Support Has Helped So Far on Little Sunshine Group, it was started 5 y ears ago by a group of volunteers who aims to benefit and improve the lives of the Nepalese children by offering them an education.
In year 2005 –
We started to provide school text books and stationeries for one school-which benefited 100 children.
In year 2006 –
We continue to provide school text books, stationeries and also raise funds to renovate the existing school to make it a more conducive environment for the 115 children studying there.
In year 2007-
We went further than just providing school text books and stationeries for 2 schools benefiting a total of 230 children by hiring 2 full time teachers to teach at the school. We also managed
to secure more volunteers to join our project resulting in a successful excursion trip for 250 Nepalese children.
In year 2008-
We continued the text books and stationeries and not only did we have an enjoyable trip with the children, we even managed to screen a movie for them. For many, the movie may come as a normal thing. But for them, it’s a once in a lifetime experience.
With the help of many, we also managed to get the support from our very own National Library Board to donate 500 books to our Little Sunshine Library in Nepal that is situated in the village. Every week, one of the teachers that we provide will give free lesson to the village children.
In year 2009-
We raise funds from volunteers, friends and family to provide 350 sweaters for the children from 2 schools to keep them warm during the winter and each sweater cost SGD$7 each.
In year 2010-
We anticipate that there will be close to 400 children attending the both schools. We also hope to build a boarding nursery call “Home of the Learning “to support single mothers and families who are too poor to provide for their children a place where their children will be given basic care and education.

STONEY SUDEHPA is an experienced yoga teacher who has been teaching yoga since 1997. In her classes, her emphasis is not only on yoga postures, but also how each of them relates to our body's meridians and acupuncture points. Through regular consistent practice, students not only experience increased strength and flexibility, they also reap the optimum therapeutic effects from each yoga posture. Stoney is also a certified Shiatsu practitioner and Reiki master.
